7 Reasons Why AlDub Rocks

It's a love team and that happened unexpectedly. Alden and Yaya Dub exchanged glimpses through TV monitors and like they say, the rest is history. Usually, I don't follow fads or love teams but this one is different. Regardless if you are rich, middle class or poor female or male, kid or adult, you have to admit you felt kilig at one given time.
So, why does this "Kalyeserye" rocks and it's taking the Filipinos here and abroad by storm! Here are reasons why.
1.) Super funny! You got to give it to the team. Sobrang katawa nila Yaya Dub at nina Wally, Jose at Paolo.
2.) Kakilig!!- Para talagang magic. It was an unexpected chemistry. Napaniwala ka talaga sa Forever.
4.) It imparts good Filipino Values- Alam na to dahil rekomendado I to ng Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) dahil kahit comedy ay nagtuturo ng kabutihang asal gaya ng paggalang sa nakatatanda, pagtupad sa isang salita at pag-iintay sa Tamang Panahon. Prino-promote rin nito ang makalumang pagliligawan. Sabi nga it's worth the wait.
6.) It makes OPM cool again.- Dahil sa dubsmash nina Alden at Maine, na-fall in love naman tayo sa mga kantang Pinoy. Kay sarap pakinggan talaga ng Mr. Right, Closer, Sa Kanya, Buko. Haay, sarap makiknig ng #AldubPlaylist sa Spotify.
y going to that direction.
Clearly, this team is a powerhouse. Thumbs up to that. Pakita natin di lang tayo tweet ng tweet, na we have purcashing power to help AlDub, but we are socially relevant as well.

The Boracay Project

Funny, the furthest I gone so far is Zambales, so for my son's 5th birthday we are going to Boracay, baby! It's September and it's the low season, so airfare and hotels are cheap.
First we booked our flights on www.AirAsia.com for 7000ph. No credit cards? No problem, we paid over the counter at 7/11. We are still thinking about getting a hotel prior to getting there. I looked on all booking sites like Expedia and Agoda. Options are The Tourist's Inn and YCL for less than 4000.
Later on I would be writing a post on our adventures or misadventures later. See if we can give you any advise on how to vacay in Boracay the cheapest way. Cross fingers on that.

#BestOfBestPH2015

The Best of Best Concert was the event that I have been waiting for weeks and I was happy and sad it was over. I really enjoyed the performances from Super Junior, Girls' Generation, Red Velvet and BTOB. I couldn't believe the stars I only watched in YouTube were now so close yet so far. But they were magic. They're exactly how saw them on the computer or mobile phone.

20150412-

-The Before-
The concert was to be held at the renowned Philippine Arena- the world's biggest indoor arena. And it was in far away Sta. Maria Bulacan so shuttle ride can be bought separately for 50Php ($1). Me and my husband's tickets were for the 4:30 pm schedule and we almost missed it. When we got there at around 5:00 pm there were already thousands of people. The place was huge and beautiful. The Phil. Arena stood there proud and also the Phil. Sports Center.
The atmosphere was energetic. There were a lot of food stalls and KPop booths to keep the Kids occupied until 7pm. There were shawarma, pizza, burgers etc. But they cost a lot, too. Globe Telecom had a booth for pictures and makeovers. Unfortunately, they catered only to prepaid subscribers.

It was around 7:50pm that everyone got in.
I was sad that Admissions threw our bought food in the trash just like that. I have been to a number of concerts before at the SM MoA Arena and they let put your food and all "unallowables" in the sides and give you tags to pick it back later after the event. Talk about wasting money.

-Security-
There were very few security around the arena or inside the arena. When Sam Oh announced everyone to settle and not all are inside yet, the kids (yeah, the smitten kpop fans) rushed in, almost running over the helpless staff. And the Arena was huge, so I wasn't really expecting that all seats will be filled. There were chunk of empty seats in the gen-ad and lower boxes still. Regardless, all should follow seat assignments, but most of the fans jumped to the empty lower part of the gen-ad section. It was scary. Somebody could have fallen. Sometimes, fans can forget about safety in exchange of seeing their idols closer.

To be continued.
On the Next post, he Concert Review....
